Torque Specifications

The standard setting for these injector fixing bolts is:

• Initial Torque: 0.7 daNm (approx. 7 Nm or 5.2 lb-ft).
• Angle Tighten: An additional 80°. 

Installation Key Notes

• Coding Required: These injectors must be coded to the vehicle's Engine Control Unit (ECU) using an OBD diagnostic tool to ensure correct fuel delivery.
• Seal Replacement: Always use a new copper seal ring when reinstalling the injector to prevent "black death" (carbon buildup from blow-by).
• Bolt Reuse: While some mechanics reuse these bolts, official manufacturer guidelines often recommend replacement if they are "torque-to-yield" bolts to ensure a proper seal.
• Cleanliness: Extreme cleanliness is vital; even a tiny speck of dust can cause a Delphi injector to fail or lock up.
